Scaffolds for Program Designers: Resources to Design a Successful Apprenticeship (January 2020)

A key strength of successful apprenticeship programs is the delivery of progressive skill gains, and work competencies that align with multiple occupations. This feature enables apprentices to develop a toolkit of marketable skills and resists a systemic hazard of locking individuals into narrowly defined pathways. But how do apprenticeship program designers find the right balance of breadth and depth in their training programs?
